Mayor's Golf Tournament

Thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored, volunteered, and supported the 2nd Annual Mayor’s Golf Tournament. The event was a wonderful success and a true reflection of the generosity and community spirit that makes Centre Wellington such a special place.

Please note that, due to the upcoming election, we will be taking a brief pause and will not be hosting a tournament this year. We look forward to welcoming you back for the 3rd Annual Mayor’s Golf Tournament in September 2027.  Check back for more details on another day of fun, golf, and community support!

The proceeds from the 2nd Annual Mayor's Charity Golf Tournament went to the Centre Wellington Food Bank! They provide much-needed support for those who are food insecure in our community. Located in the Marketplace building on Queen St. in Fergus, the Food Bank services upward of 350 households every month. They were able to provide CW residents with almost 250,000 pounds of food in 2024. Unfortunately, their client list continues to grow weekly. They could not exist without the generous support of our community. Such support allows them to continue their essential grocery program, which provides meat, dairy, and other products to families. It also helps support their kitchen, which provides ready-to-go food options and three new food pantries that increase food access. The CW Food Bank staff and volunteers are extremely appreciative of the support from the 2026 Mayor's Golf Tournament. The tournament raised over $24,000.

The proceeds from the 1st Annual Mayor's Charity Golf Tournament went to the Groves Hub.

By participating in this charity event, each participant acknowledges that they will not receive any preferential treatment for future procurements being conducted by the Township of Centre Wellington. Participation in this event is voluntary and is solely for charitable purposes and does not guarantee receipt of any future business
